I will not contribute to CCHD but will give an equal amount (or more)to individual catholic charities like Priests for Life, Fr. Taafe homes for unwed mothers, St. Germain Pregnancy Center, my local parish, St. Vincent de Paul, Salem Right to Life, etc. etc. It takes a little more effort sending out individual checks, but at least I'll know where my money is actually going rather than the fungible way that some of the CCHD $$ go. Thanks for your courage in posting the article.
