Bishop Liam Cary: New defender of a greater flock.

Principal consecrator: Are you resolved as a good shepherd to seek out the sheep who stray
and to gather them into the fold of the Lord?

Bishop-elect: I am.

Newly ordained Bishop Liam Cary sits with Archbishop John George Vlazny (Principal Consecrator),
Bishop Robert Francis Vasa and Bishop William Stephen Skylstad (Principal Co-Consecrators). May 18, 2012.

Congratulations Bishop Cary.  May God bless you and guide you all the days of your life.

Thanks to Marc Salvatore for these beautiful pictures.

Carolyn,

Thanks for the link. I was delighted to be present at the ordination and installation, being on a bus sponsored by the KCs, and also surprised to see a photo of me with the bishop and vicar general.

Blessings.

Teresa,

You're such a cutie pie. What a wonderful day. I'm going to have to watch video of this event. My favorite bishop was there (Vasa) and I was finally feeling so good that I missed this. Now that I'm sick to my stomach over this, I'll have to make huge marks on the calendar. I'll be there for OUR Archbishop's installation. He's going to be a gift from God. I don't have his name yet, but I see which way the wind is blowing.

God Bless you and your dear family,
Carolyn

Did Bishop Robert Francis Vasa and Bishop William Stephen Skylstad also answer the question?
Love ya.

Nothing was said. I'm watching which way the wind is blowing and trusting my instincts from all I observe. There are some names I THINK he is, but it's me eliminating people. Tell me who it is and I'll do the same.

Hi Carolyn,

It was indeed a beautiful ceremony and just as I thought, a once in a lifetime event. I am still flying high from this wonderful experience. I was blessed to get an unexpected ride from the Deacon from St. Mary's church in Hood River.

God bless and I hope your daughter will have a safe and healthy delivery. God bless all those grandchildren of yours.

Thanks Mary, I'm so happy that you had a great ride with the Deacon. I'm going to watch the video...no baby yet. Thanks also for your prayers for my dear daughter and for all our wonderful grandchildren.
