What's Wrong With This Picture? Who Neglected to tell Archbishop Alexander Sample He's Promoting Saul Alinsky?

t

Look at the back wall.  See the signs?  Someone in the Archdiocese failed to educate Archbishop Sample on the influence that Saul Alinsky has over the Catholics in Oregon.   He will be swallowed whole by "Alinskyites" that have been around the Archdiocese in our Catholic churches for decades.   We love his passion for people.  However, we realize that this passion is also used against him when it comes to helping others.  Case in point, not being told everything about MACG.

If Catholics had twenty or so years building up internal organizations within our churches like Portland Organizing Project, growing up into Metropolitan Alliance for the Common Good (MACG),  what a vibrant witness we would be.   Thus avoiding the parallel, parasitical anti-Catholic groups having their basis in the teachings of Saul Alinksy and not Jesus Christ.

Saul Alinsky dedicates his book, “Rules for Radicals” to Lucifer.

“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer".

Pray for our good Archbishop Sample that he realizes the true and evil nature of MACG. They unapologetically support unrestrained abortion and homosexual marriage.

Drivers Licenses for Illegals, now supporting Alinsky organizations. Why bother to think that anything will change in the Portland Archdiocese. Archbishop Sample has been co-opted. Nothing will change.

I think he is just following Pope Francis, who loves to leave behind the 99 sheep to go after the one lost lamb. The problem is, here in Oregon, we have a majority of lost lambs

Anonymous,

I do believe with all my heart that the Archbishop needs education on the leftist organizations that support abortions and homosexual "marriage".

The Church has to be different and not cause the weaker to stumble. I think it's "millstone around the neck" that shouldn't be forgotten.1

Jim,
There are two things going on here. The first is driver's licenses for illegals. Yes, I had a nervous breakdown, not really, but needed to know what was going on and saw this video. I am chalking it up to going along with the USCCB.

I think that civil disobedience is warranted when, let's say our immigration policies were lacking, but we have the most liberal immigration policies in the world.
So, not good in jumping the line.

Oregon was even in the news showing that even Democrats felt this way and voted the drivers licenses down.

With English not being required, passing a test in Spanish wasn't like driving in America and needed to know what signs say.

Okay...second case. I don't think that the Archbishop knows about deep Saul Alinsky worship goes in this Archdiocese among the clergy.

Don't lose heart. Many new hires will make a difference. When I feel so badly I have to realize that we have to be "faithful and not always successful". After they peel me off the ceiling.

Theodore,

If I didn't have proof that good things weren't afoot, I'd be even more disappointed.

As a convert, I have little problem expecting those in authority to know where the money's going and have people around them trustworthy on all things Catholic.

I will add another post letting people know some good news too. I was waiting for a response from the Archdiocese but we all could use a boost.

What was the archbishop doing there, and what did he say?

I guess I should have explained my question. How do I know the archbishop is supporting this group unless I know what he said?

This shows the MACG meeting was at St. Andrew Catholic Church. The driver's licenses for illegals is a moot point now. but I must say that Carpools, buses and walking are ways we get where we're going and this fact seems to be lost when speaking to this issue.
My 2 cents.

Hi, Carolyn - I wandered about in the net, reading about MACG and the groups that belong to it. Long list, including Holy Name Sisters, labor unions, various churches. Two Catholic churches listed are St. Andrew and St. Charles. Perhaps Archbishop Sample was speaking at one of those churches. Joy Wallace is in charge of the church bulletin at St. Andrew, if you have been wondering where she is. They have a gay/lesbian ministry there. Pastor Dave Zegar. I'll add more later. Oremus !

The Archbishop is in the midst of all those that believe they know more than the Church.

Joy Wallace is in the thick of things and a long time friend of the Archdiocese. Even though she is for woman's ordination, the active homosexuality, to name a couple.

These people are fun to be with because we would question attitudes and groups too much. We are a pain.

You must see this,,, Go to Carolyn's link and you can see The Archbishop Sample of Portland Or say he is supporting the Illegals etc... We are just Sickened by this example and how he has promoted this. The Sentinel, the "catholic" newspaper, has been used as the vehicle to get the word out and it is full of this propaganda.
I have put up and have been fighting this, of supporting the illegals by the church here in Ore. for 43 years
We must pray even more for him, and be aware be very aware.
